The few cookies Skribloo uses, what each one does, and how to control them

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Skribloo (skribloo.com) uses only a few of them. This page lists each kind and explains how to control them.

Cookies we need to run the site

These cookies make Skribloo work. Without them, you cannot sign in or use the free daily page.

  • Session cookie: keeps you signed in after you sign in with Google, and keeps your session secure. It lasts until you sign out or the session expires.
  • Visitor ID cookie: a random ID that lets us give each visitor one free page per day and show you the pages you made recently, even if you have not signed in. It does not contain your name or email.
  • Bot check: Cloudflare Turnstile may set or read cookies and browser signals to confirm a person, not a bot, is using the tool.

Because these cookies are needed for the service you ask for, they do not require consent.

Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and features people use. GA4 sets cookies (their names start with _ga) that store a random ID and last up to two years. We use this information only in aggregate to improve Skribloo, not to advertise to you.

Where the law requires consent, these cookies are set only after you agree, and you can change your choice at any time.

What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not let other companies track you across sites through Skribloo.

How to control cookies

  • Your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. If you block the cookies we need, sign-in and the free daily page will not work.
  • Google Analytics: you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on, or block _ga cookies in your browser.

Changes

If we add or change cookies, we will update this page and the date at the top.
